Aetna’s Solar Powered Parsons Ave.

Aetna Building Maintenance’s headquarters has been given an energy efficiency makeover! Our corporate office located at 646 Parsons Ave. is now equipped with energy efficient white roofing, EnergyStar rated R-410a cooling units, and most importantly: solar power! Our building now produces approximately 40% of its own energy. At times, the solar energy being produced exceeds the energy being consumed, at which point Aetna becomes a SUPPLIER of energy to the local community!

Our energy efficient white roof reflects heat rather than absorbing it, which lowers the energy consumed for cooling the building.

Community Garden Almost Complete…

Aetna Building Maintenance is proud to call Columbus, OH its home. To beautify our neighborhood and welcome to surrounding community, Aetna Building Maintenance is constructing the Aetna Community Garden. On May 23rd, we’ll host our ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the garden and welcome the community. Our garden plots will be irrigated with rain barrels and given use to different community partners. Moreover, we’ll also be giving a tour of our Solar Panel equipped and energy efficient white roof!
